Yes, the specifically designed insurance policy from Allstate is included with all Avail transactions. Avail wants to ensure an owner’s vehicle is protected and Avail does not currently have a mechanism to confirm whether or not your personal insurance meets Avail’s insurance standards.
Avail works closely with Allstate to provide outstanding protection for Avail users. It includes $1 million in liability insurance coverage that helps protect you from lawsuits related to injuries and property damage. In addition, you’ll have protection for accidental damage to the vehicle. Drivers are only responsible for a $500 deductible if they are determined to be at fault for the accident.
If you are in an accident while using Avail, Allstate’s policy acts as the primary policy, so no other insurance is required while on an Avail trip. Accidents that occur while on an Avail trip should not impact your personal insurance.
